I came across a series NLP articles one day and ironically found one that expounded on interesting but unique reasons for learning Neurolinguistic Programming
- a nice exception to a lot of the NLP-based material out there that promises the ability to seduce someone else's wife, or to persuade someone out of their car.
It was not actually an NLP article, but rather a Law of Attraction article that offered good points relating to accomplishing the permanent improvement of your habitual thoughts and feelings. After all, it doesn't matter how you do it, as long as you establish a gradual shift in your overall dominant vibration and "thought frequency". And NLP is one possible way to go about it.
When you radiate positivity and an unconditional joy and gratitude, you can only attract the equivalent in circumstances and good fortune. By using NLP to change the way you see yourself in the middle of a given social environment, in a job interview, or in other situations, you are changing the way you respond and are manifesting different results than from the person you used to be before learning a particular NLP skill.
Basically, you're becoming someone else.
One particular branch of neurolinguistic programming deals with nlp techniques of how to take advantage of the fact of how humans process things using images in their heads. When you think of a particular task that over time will help accomplish a goal, but might be kind of monotonous, and you close your eyes, and try to see "what that looks like in your head", you might get a fast running river of particles on the right side of field of vision. If you then think of a fun activity such as sitting at a cafe with someone you like, it looks completely different, possibly with a still image on the other side of the vision field and smaller, and maybe less brighter. It's always different.
Using NLP to transform the unpleasant, but income-producing activity, into something more enjoyable, or using it to make it easier to ask someone out on a date, will lead overall to a more balanced state of mind where you are thinking high quality thoughts.
The less resistance there is to easily thinking about your cherished objectives in life, the easier they manifest, not to mention the action you're taking in a more enjoyable manner. Just by "running your brain" in a way that is compatible with the actions that are required, the objectives are reached easier, and a side effect is that you are "vibrating" at a higher frequency.
Unstoppable Confidence If you've given up on which of the many vintage or newer NLP books to buy or read, Kent Sayre has done the work of learning every naunce of NLP and summarizing, with usable techniques and detail, the nutshell of how to apply things like timelines, changing beliefs, modeling, reframing, modalities etc and with just enough detail.
Power of Positive Habits Cognitive re-structuring is learning to identify your own cycle of negative thoughts, habits and routines and replacing them with positive thoughts, habits and routines. |
